Google Adds Existing Translation Service to iPhone

What is the saying?  Necessity is the mother of all inventions?  Apparently, that's the case here as a Google engineer on vacation found using Google's regular web-based Translation service cumbersome and decided to create one with the right interface for the iPhone.

Now available for the iPhone:  Google Translate.

It's the very same web app that is easy to use and also available from other search engines but with the new iPhone interface, it is very easy to use.  What I found most useful is the list it kept in the web page for later viewing as needed.

It's very useful and effective.  For the first time in my life, I've tried translating something to Norwegian.  Hmmm...so that's what Hindi writing looks like...
