I came across a link I posted at On Apple that showed how to create use a hand crank flashlight to charge an iPod. But it'll work with other devices like phones and mp3 players as well.
A lot of the devices we show-cased were also discussed on an earlier post about surviving natural disasters for mobile warriors.
It's just interesting to see more and more folks interested in generating their own power for self-sufficiency.
